Molluscum Contagiosum is a common viral contagious disease affecting the skin and mucous membranes.

Although Molluscum Contagiosum conjunctivitis is a common papular rash that often appears in children between the ages of one and ten, many parents are unaware of its existence. When children are infected with the termite virus, they develop small pimples that look like nodules, olives, or pearls.

These small skin lesions (like pimples) appear mainly on the face, trunk, limbs, and genitals. Lesions develop 2 to 8 weeks after infection. When the first pimples appear, transferring the virus from one part of the body to another is very easy and possible if the child rubs or scratches these pimples.

In several cases, if left untreated, terminator infection can progress rapidly and resolve in 2-3 months. However, since new lesions may develop where old ones have subsided, it is recommended that treatment be carried out at an early stage.

The virus worsens in children suffering from eczema, atopic dermatitis, and dry skin and needs immediate treatment. Especially in the case of eczema, the lesions appear around the area's perimeter and cause itching and itching, thus facilitating the spread of the virus to a clean part of the body.

The treatment options for eradicating terminates are to remove the skin lesions by surgical curettage or using cryo coagulation or diathermy coagulation. Also, combating termite infestation with co2 laser is a first choice treatment because it is exceptionally safe and targeted.
